I had a fantastic time at Kasthamandap Boutique, where Prabin arranged a trek and the rooftop view was spectacular. The beef dishes for breakfast were a standout, with a delicious offer of local spices. Plus, the clean and comfortable rooms made it a cozy retreat.

However, my room wasn’t ideal with one window facing a wall and another an ugly building. I struggled with inconsistent shower temperatures, and at 4500 rupees, it felt steep. The lobby was small and not inviting, which was a bit of a letdown.

Lastly, I expected better service regarding transportation arrangements, especially considering the high costs compared to local options.

for a boutique hotel, I was shocked at the dirty fridge and the shower curtain, which looked like it belonged in a horror movie! I expected a room upgrade for all this inconvenience but I guess that's too much to ask. I almost gave them a good review, but I just couldn’t.

I had a wonderful stay with friendly staff who provided a city map and helped me plan my itinerary. The hotel is just a short stroll away from the stunning Garden of Dreams and the bustling Thahiti Chowk, making it super easy to explore on foot.

The breakfast was delicious, but wifi connection was unreliable.

It was just a strong match for strolling around in Kathmandu with very good value for money. The staff arranged our airport transport easily and picked us up without any fuss. Bring an extra towel if you prefer more than one in the room.

kasthamandap boutique is in a prime location, just a short walk to durbar square. the hotel is cozy and designed beautifully in authentic nepali style. my room was clean and comfortable, with effective air conditioning. the staff, especially manager prabin, were super friendly and helped plan my itinerary with great care.
